i have being sued by a credit card company. The attorney for the credit card has file a motion for continous and a motion for summary judgement against me. First what is a motion for summary judgement and what can i file to the judge(court) to slow down or stop the judge from ruling on this against me on this motion of summary judgement. I need more time to contact the attorney to work out a settlement.
