A debt collector filed a lawsuit against me. I contacted him several times by letter asking for a copy of the complaint and summons and he has not responded. I was afraid he might try to move for a default against me if I didn’t answer so I went to the Court and obtained a copy and I also filed an answer. Can I still move to dismiss the complaint if he hasn’t actually served me?

Fierro’s Attorneys File Motion To Dismiss Case

right now a judge is hearing a motion to dismiss the case against carlos fierro. the defense says the way the jury was selected is grounds for dismissal. but the da’s office says it did nothing wro…

I think my case is going to get thrown out. If I write the motion on my own, I would prefer to. If the motion is denyed, I will hire representation.
Now, all that being said, where can I find an example to write one from?

I am being taken to court for grandparent visitation with my children, my state has no grandparent rights, I want to stop this without spending a lot of money.
